What is Purple Mattress? Purple Full Size Mattress

The Purple Mattress, or simply “The Purple,” is an all-foam mattresswith there are no springs. It is made using Purple’s exclusive grid layer that utilizes a “hyper-elastic polymer.” The layer, known as the Purple Grid Layer, is composed of a comfort layer and a support core made from a polyfoam.

Purple Purple is available at one firmness levelmedium-firm and is offered in various sizes delivered straight to your door. This is in line with the rising popularity in DTC or direct-to-consumer mattress firms that use lower overhead to improve the actual product the mattress itself.

Who Started Purple Mattress?

Purple has some imaginative names, specifically twins Terry as well as Tony Pearce, who are manufacturing and material experts, respectively. They utilized both of their experience to design modern versions of things they believed required more attention in terms of structure and comfort.

This led to their creation of Floam, a high-tech cushioning fluid that can be found in many products from footwear to medical instruments. The issue of Floam is that it was primarily available for institutional bodies as the price to develop the tech was expensive.

The two brothers set out to create a cheaper Floam and eventually developed their patented Hyper-elastic Polymer. Soft, stretchy, and durable, the Hyper elastic polymer soon became the foundational aspect of what creates the Purple mattress comfortable and supple in the same way.

What is the difference between it and the Usual Mattress?

Purple is available in a variety of sizes, including twin and California King, and offers that landmark cushioning their unique technology for fabric provides. The “Purple Grid” is a fundamental element of the features that make Purple a unique mattress, as it acts as a memory foam, but provides an even more responsive bounce. The mattress is constructed in a grid system which allows airflow to flow via the spaces between the foam, thus regulating temperature without sacrificing the overall cushion.

In terms of construction, every mattress has a 2 inches of Purple proprietary grid with an additional 3.5-inch foam layer. This is supported by four inches of high-density polyfoam. a standard in most full-foam mattresses that give the entire cushion shape and form.

The design is enhanced by a poly-viscose blended fabric that assists in regulating temperature and offers a superb cool feel. Expect each mattress to be around 9.25 inches in height, thick enough for most body shapes, and applicable for all standard sheets.

To put it in simple terms, you can look for a mattress that’s semi-firm (called “medium-firm”) with affordable prices while still delivering high-end materials and superior quality. Moreover, Purple comes with several variations, including Hybrid, Hybrid or Hybrid Premier. Hybrid Premier. Mattresses that are accustomed to coil support can opt for these hybrids for a similar experience but enhanced by Purple’s own technology.

What Benefits Can I Expect?

But how does this really compare to the normal mattress? And how will it benefit you as a sleeper? While there are many aspects of sleeping and the elements that influence it, certain commonly-accepted elements are expected of mattresses.

Stress Relief

Stress Relief which is also called Pressure Relief according to what some might call it, is one of the most vital points of owning a Purple mattress. If you’ve ever had to wake up with a backache or constantly stretch in the morning, you’re probably using the wrong mattress. It’s not providing enough stress relief and not enough support within the structure.

The Purple Grid is likely to be one of the major reasons Purple excels at decreasing pressure and alleviating stress to your body. The grid’s proprietary technology helps form the body and provide a plush yet supportive feel. Many lower-end mattresses face the problem of sleeping too deeply into the mattress. With Purple, you can rest comfortably. Purple mattress (the first and all of its variations), you have the perfect amount of cushion and the appropriate amount of support that you can lay back without sinking completely down.

This is crucial for sleepers who experience pain in certain sleeping positions. A good pressure relieving helps ease discomfort- all the more important to specific sleeping positions.

Structure Retention

An often overlooked aspect of mattresses that is crucial to their overall quality is whether they keep their form in the event that weight is spread across the sides, a mattress quality commonly called “structure retention.” This is typically the reason that all foam mattresses fail as they have less structural support directly based on their materials.

As for Purple mattresses specifically the original bed isn’t immune to the same problems that many all-foam mattresses face in relation to this retention of structure. But due to the more elastic material, Purple Original Purple Original does tend to maintain its shape more. This will certainly benefit those who require the greatest space as the improved edge retention results in the possibility of using the entirety of the bed without worry about sinking.

This is further enhanced by these Purple Hybrid and Hybrid Premier versions, as they feature inner coil springs. This old but still useful technology is found in many mattresses in the market now. The hybrid mattresses combine the flexibility of Purple’s grid layer with the stability of copper coils. This gives you more flexible edges and keeping your bed in place whenever you want to, and off it when you aren’t.

Temperature Regulation

A factor in a mattress that contributes to the quality of your sleep is is how well it regulates your body’s temperature. While it’s unlikely to think that mattresses are cooling in nature, many of the mattresses available are specially designed to have gaps and spaces between the foams to let air circulate freely.

The issue with mattresses made of all foam is they are prone to trap heat, especially ones made out of memory foam. Unlike coil-mattress that are made of coils, the heat generated by your body’s friction and movement don’t have any place to go, so it can quickly build up.

However, Purple’s line of mattresses is able to overcome this issue due (again) in part) to its most flexible Purple grid. Because the Purple grid was designed with wide spaces, air is able to move more freely between all the foam layers. This avoids the pesky trapped heat issue that many mattresses have to deal with and keeps you asleep all night long.

Motion Transfer

One of the mattress aspects which you’ll likely often see on informationmercials is those that show “motion transfer” or the degree to which the mattress is in transferring motion across its surface. It’s usually demonstrated through an empty glass of water (or wine) situated on one end of the bed and something heavier drop onto the other (usually bowling ball or a person to illustrate the weight). A well-designed motion transfer bed will guarantee that the glass would not tip over in spite of the sudden movement to the opposite side.

white-bed

> > Click Here to Check out Purple Mattress < <

Generally speaking, you’ll need a mattress with minimal motion transfer as this keeps you asleep whenever someone enters or exits the mattress. The final thing you’d like is for you and all your belongings to suddenly jump up when someone is seated on the mattress. Contrary to the problems that result from temperature regulation, air foam mattresses offer a benefit as they naturally transfer little to the side and have no movement at all from side to side. This is particularly true of the Purple mattress’s original. It is still made of the same foundational materials as many foam mattresses. Still, it is enhanced with a newer top layer of ultra-elastic foam.

Though be warned that the Purple Hybrid and Hybrid Premier mattresses may carry over some additional movement on their surface due to their usage of inner-coil mechanisms. What you trade in for support you lose in isolation from movement. Though it may not be the same as full-on mattress with inner coils, don’t expect to be able to hold an ice-cream cone and glasses of wine on the same bed without causing an unintentional mess.

Mobility

Related to the concepts of structure and isolation from movement retention is the concept about mattress flexibility. When a mattress advertises its ability to conform to your body, it is reasonable to be expecting some degree of movement inhibition. Naturally, it will be harder to get out of the bed if you feel covered by the mattress.

Although this might not be an issue for all sleepers, certain users expect a little more responsiveness and “bounce in the opposite direction” from a mattress. Purple straddles this balance pretty well despite being an all-foam mattress. Memory foam typically has the issue of completely sinking a user’s body and making it difficult to get up. The exclusive Purple grid layer is the reason it for the ability of its grid to resemble contouring of memory foam, but improve upon it with an additional layer of elasticity.

Expect this comfort of movement to be enhanced even further with their Hybrid and Hybrid Premier variants. Innerspring mattresses usually have better reaction to movement compared to memory foam.

Who Is This Best For?

Mattress researchers often recommend certain types of cushioning for different types of sleepers. If you’re not sure of the type of sleeper you could be, just observe the posture you generally end up in in the night. You can generally be characterized as one of three kinds of sleepers: Back, Side, and Stomach Sleepers. How is Purple mattress for each of these types?

Side Sleepers

This is the main target market for Purple since their mattresses offer pressure relief with people who sleep on their sides in mind. If you’re a side sleeper then you’ll need to be supported for your spinal alignment. It is essential to get the proper amount of support so that you don’t develop any pressure points that hurt during the night. If you’re a heavy-set person and you’re a heavier-set person, you may need more support than the one that Purple offers.

Back Sleepers & Stomach Sleepers

Back sleepers must also get the support of your lumbar and some modicum of pressure relief. In addition, those who sleep more often may want to opt for more firm mattresses as Purple may feel a bit too soft. These people may sink too much into the bed. If you are between 130-230 points, this could be a decent pick for you. However, the preferences will vary from one person to the next.

The issue of support is becoming more frequent in stomach sleepers. They’ll certainly require a more solid foundation to stop the accumulation of pressure points that could strain necks, shoulders, and lower backs. As a stomach-sleeper who is heavierwith a weight of more than 130 pounds— will definitely require the most firm bed.

How Much is a Purple Mattress?

The original Purple mattress keeps entry costs at a low level on its two mattresses so that even the most hesitant users are able to enjoy the Purple difference with little hurt on the pocket. With a price of $599, you could enjoy their twin mattress shipped directly to your doorstep. For more standard sizes like Queen and King, expect to spend more than the $1000 mark, specifically $1,199 and $1.499, respectively. Purple Full Size Mattress

If you’re thinking of buying Hybrids like the Purple Hybrid or the Hybrid Premier be prepared to pay around double or even triple the prices of the original mattress. This makes the Hybrid mattresses somewhat expensive for those on a budget or customers who aren’t sure about making a purchase from Purple. Purple Full Size Mattress

What’s excellent with Purple however, is that they include a 100-night sleep trial that allows you to try the mattress before fully committing to the purchase. Make sure you’re able to utilize this mattress over 21 nights as part of its “break-in” time. If you’re not satisfied with the mattress, you can be assured of a full reimbursement at no cost. Final Words

Purple mattress is a great choice for people looking for a plush but sturdy mattress that holds its shape better than memory foam. It also offers responsiveness, and keeps the contouring feature that people who sleep on foam mattresses enjoy. Additionally, it comes with features like reasonable temperature control and movement isolation, making it more durable than your typical mattress. Purple Full Size Mattress

The price is relatively easy to comprehend as well, especially in the case of a twin size for a starter room. But be warned that bigger sizes and more costly models can easily double or triple the cost you’ll pay. In any event there is the option of taking advantage of their trial of 100 days– just be certain to take it up after 21 days of “break-in” period. Purple Full Size Mattress

Let’s say you’re in the middle in weight and you’re a regular side sleeper. If so, this mattress recommendation goes double as this allows you sufficient support depending on how you sleep. Though if you fall more on your heavier side and you typically sleep on your stomach, you may want to opt for a mattress that offers a bit more support.

Furthermore, DreamCloud does come up somewhat less expensive, so people looking to save money could consider having a look DreamCloud an opportunity to test the waters.

What Benefits Can I Expect?

However, how does this compare to the regular mattress? And how will it benefit you as a sleeper? There are many aspects to sleeping and the features that affect it, a few commonly accepted elements are expected from a mattress.

Stress Relief

Stress Relief or Pressure Relief as some might call it, is one of the most essential benefits of having the Purple mattress. If you’ve ever woken with a backache or if you need to always stretch out in the morning, you’re probably using the wrong mattress. It’s not providing enough stress relief and not enough support throughout its construction.

Purple Grid Purple Grid is most likely one of the main reasons Purple excels at relieving pressure and easing the tension to your body. The grid’s proprietary technology helps contour the body to provide a plush yet supportive feel. The majority of mattresses in the lower end have the issue of sleepers sinking too much into their mattress. However, with this Purple mattress (the first and all of its variants) You will find the right amount of comfort and the appropriate amount of support that you can lay back without sinking to the bottom completely.

This is particularly important for those who suffer from discomfort in particular sleeping positions. A good pressure relieving will mitigate this discomfort-and is even more crucial to specific sleeping positions.

Structure Retention

A frequently overlooked element of mattresses vital to their overall quality is the way they can keep their form in the event that weight is spread across the sides– the mattress quality is often referred to as “structure retention.” This is usually the case with all foam mattresses since they lack structural support specifically based on the materials they use.

In terms of Purple mattresses specifically the bed’s original design isn’t immune to the same problems that all foam mattresses have regarding this structure retention. However, due to the more elastic material, the Purple Original does tend to keep its shape a bit more. This will definitely help those who need the most surface area as more edge retention will give you the possibility of using the entirety of the bed without having to worry about sinking.

This is further enhanced with these Purple Hybrid and Hybrid Premier models, which have inner-coil springs. This older yet still applicable technology is found in many mattresses on the market today. These hybrid mattresses combine the flexibility of the grid of Purple’s with the stability of copper coils. This gives you more responsive edgesthat keep you in the bed in the times you have to, and off it when you do not.

Temperature Regulation

One aspect of mattresses that can affect how good your night’s sleep is the way it regulates your body temperature. Although you might not think that mattresses cool by their very nature, a lot of cushions in the market are specially designed to have gaps and spaces between the foams to allow air to properly circulate.

The problem with all-foam mattresses is they can hold heat, particularly those made primarily from memory foam. As opposed to coil-mattresses which is made of memory foam, heat generated by your body’s heat through friction and movement don’t have any place to go, so heat can quickly build up.

However, the Purple line of mattresses overcomes this problem primarily because (again) to their most flexible Purple grid. Because the Purple grid is designed with wide spaces, air is able to move more freely between all the foam layers. This eliminates the annoying trapped heat issue other mattresses face and helps keep you asleep all night long.

Motion Transfer

A mattress aspect which you’ll likely often see on infomercials is the ones that highlight “motion transfer” or the degree to which the mattress is to transmitting movements across its surfaces. It is typically demonstrated with a glass of water (or wine) placed on one side of the bed while having something heavier drop onto the other (usually bowling ball or even a person for the weight). A bed that is motion-resistant would ensure that the glass does not fall over despite the sudden movements on the opposite end.

white-bed

> > Click Here to Check out Purple Mattress < <

Practically speaking, you’ll want an area with a minimum of motion transfer since this will keep you asleep when someone enters or exits the mattress. The last thing you want is for yourself and all the stuff with you to jump out of the bed when someone joins you on the mattress. Contrary to the problems that result from temperature regulation, air foam mattresses actually have a distinct advantage since they have a tendency to transmit little or no movement from side to side. This is particularly true of the Purple mattress’s initial. It is still made of the same foundational materials as other foam mattresses. Still, it is enhanced with a newer top layer of hyper-elastic foam.

Though be warned that the Purple Hybrid and Hybrid Premier mattresses may carry over the slightest amount of movement on their surface due to their usage of inner coil mechanisms. What you trade in support for is isolation from movement. While it’s not as bad as fully in-seam mattresses don’t expect to be able to hold a bowling ball and an alcoholic glass on the same mattress without causing a terrible mess.

Mobility

In connection with the notions of structure and isolation from movement retention is the notion that mattresses can be mobile. When a mattress advertises its ability to contour to your body shape, you must also expect some aspect of movement inhibition. Naturally, it is more difficult to get out bed when you feel completely in the bed.

While this may not be a problem for most sleeping people, certain users expect a little more responsiveness or “bounce back” from a mattress. Purple does this pretty well, despite being an entirely foam bed. Memory foam usually comes with the problem of sinking a user’s body and making it particularly difficult to get up. The proprietary Purple grid-like layer has to thank for its ability to resemble memory foam contouring but improved upon it with an additional layer of elasticity.

Expect this ease of movement to be enhanced even more with Hybrid as well as Hybrid Premier variants. Mattresses made of innerspring typically have better performance in terms of movement than memory foam.

Who Is This Best For?

Mattress experts often suggest the use of a particular type of cushion for different types of sleepers. If you’re not sure what kind of sleeper you might be, simply observe the posture you generally find yourself in during the evening. You can generally be characterized as one of three kinds: Side, Back, or Stomach Sleepers. What’s the Purple mattress’s performance for each of these categories?

Side Sleepers

This is the main target market for Purple because their mattresses provide pressure relief with people who sleep on their sides in mind. If you’re a side-sleeper, expect the need to have support for your spine’s general alignment. It is essential to get the proper amount of support so that you don’t develop any pressure points that hurt during the night. If you’re a heavy-set person You may require more help compared to the one that Purple gives.

Back Sleepers & Stomach Sleepers

Back sleepers also need plenty of support for your lumbar and some modicum of pressure relief. In addition, those who sleep more often may prefer an extra firm mattress since Purple may feel a bit too soft, and these sleepers may end up sinking too much into the bed. If you are between 130-230 points, this could be an appropriate choice for you. However, the preferences will vary from one person to the next.

The problem of support is getting more prevalent in stomach sleepers. They will definitely need an even more firm foundation to avoid the build-up of pressure points which can cause strain to shoulders, necks, or lower backs. As a stomach-sleeper who is heavierthat is over 130 poundscertainly requires more firmer mattress.
