Members of the brand-new independent and assisted living community The Echelon of Medina have all the amenities (and more!) that one could hope for when searching for the perfect place to call home.
The 55-plus community officially opened its doors last December on the assisted living side and welcomed its first members on the independent living side in July. Its location at 635 N. Huntington St. puts members less than one mile from both the quaint, historic downtown section of Medina and the more commercial area of town on North Court Street. The state-of-the-art campus is gorgeous and welcoming with convenient amenities seemingly at every turn. Members can find spa and hair services, a therapy pool, an art studio and culinary center, a 21-seat movie theater, a deli and coffee shop, a pub and so much more inside the modern and beautifully decorated facilities at The Echelon.
The Echelon campus is made up of two separate buildings. The 98-unit assisted living facility and the 90-unit independent living facility both have one- and two-bedroom options.
“When you walk into these buildings, it’s like walking into a beautiful resort. The architecture is beautiful, and we offer so many services for our members. We even have a concierge on staff,” Operations Director Adam Neal says.
Adam took the time to show me the model apartments as well and, as expected, they were beautiful, spacious, practical and modern. With services, care and accommodations like these, it’s easy to see why members would consider their new residence in Medina to be among the “upper echelon.”
