Medina Girl Opens Her Own Business

Mckinleigh Malone, a 10-year-old at Northside Christian Academy, opened the doors to her very own business, Frosted Cake Shoppe, this summer. Mckinleigh opened the shop with love and support from her mother, Melissa Malone, owner of a few other small businesses in Medina. The shop is a traditional cake shop, specializing in—you guessed it—all things cake and cupcakes. They accept special orders for weddings, birthdays and other special events but also offer grab-and-go items such as cupcakes and macaroons. Frosted Cake Shoppe is located at 503 S. Court St. in Medina.
