When it comes to new construction or the simple need for a more updated and elegant entrance to your home, Bent Nail Architectural Millwork offers a service that is hard to come by. It all began in the late 1970s when John Fetherolf found himself struggling to get his hands on quality hardwood doors for his clients. At the time, John was building and remodeling homes, and generic doors didn’t typically make the cut. This is when he decided to start building his own stile and rail doors. As other homeowners and contractors got wind of his beautiful custom doors, a new enterprise was born. In 1992 John and his son, David Fetherolf, founded Bent Nail Architectural Millwork and opened their first factory in Lodi, Ohio.
To this day, David and his dad still own and operate Bent Nail. The company makes commercial and residential doors that bring warmth and gentility to entry ways. They transform what would otherwise be a generic entrance into a piece a art that can be admired for decades.
Although crafting beautiful doors is what Bent Nail is known for, they offer many other services as well. They can perform historical woodworking to match doors, windows and molding to a building’s original woodwork, specialty millwork and installation, custom furniture parts, louvered products, commercial project services, moldings, true divided lite windows, radius top door and windows as well as custom interior doors and interior woodwork. But what truly makes Bent Nail stand apart, is the detail work that is designed into each and every piece they create. From beautifully simplistic to stunning architectural details, Bent Nail can craft the door of your dreams. Whether you’re in need of an updated front entryway, a set of French doors that open up to your patio or want to work with Dave and John to design specialty millwork for your home, Bent Nail will have no trouble nailing down the details and creating something magnificent for you and your family.
