Medina County District Library News

On December 31, 2016, a position will become available on the MCDL Board of Trustees. Advocates of the library should consider applying for this seven-year term. Board members are volunteers that must also serve on committees, which will meet throughout the year. Board meetings take place on the third Monday of each month.

The Medina County District Library is also pleased to announce their latest outreach service: Pop-Up Libraries! At Pop-Up Libraries you can apply for a library card, check out library materials, and learn to download and borrow digital media at the click of an app. Keep an eye out for a Pop-Up Library at a community event near you.

JK Gift Shop Expands Space

JK Gift Shop and the Interior Design Studio recently underwent a renovation that expanded both gift shop space and studio space for interior design. They celebrated their grand reopening in October, and if you have not stopped in to see their Medina Square business since then, this trip is a must. The Medina Square business is full of friendly, helpful staff ready to assist you and answer questions.

Nature Art Fest

The Medina County Park District is hosting their fifteenth annual Nature Art Fest this month, and you won’t want to miss this experience. It is the perfect opportunity to purchase a holiday gift for the art lover in your life. Visit Wolf Creek Environmental Center November 12 between 10 am and 5 pm, and be sure to bring the family to enjoy some time in one of Medina County’s most beautiful parks.
