Donkey Drop Fun

Willowood Care Center is hosting the “Annual Donkey Drop” fundraiser September 17 from 10 am to 2 pm. Famous Jack the Donkey will mark a lucky $1500 winner. Live music, raffles, bouncy room, clown entertainment, face painting, donkey rides, many games with prizes and great food can be enjoyed by all. Free Admission. Family fun. All proceeds go to the Hands Foundation-“Making wishes come true for Medina Country Senior Residents.”

St. Patrick Episcopal Church Pet Blessing

St. Patrick Episcopal Church will host their 18th annual pet blessing October 2 from 1 to 4 pm in Brunswick’s North Park. The event commemorates St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. This event offers individual blessings for each pet.

Millennium Rehabilitation Open House

Millennium Rehabilitation – A Physical Therapy and Sportsmedicine Center, is a locally owned and operated company, and they have been providing physical therapy care to the people of Medina County since 2002. They have just moved their clinic from the Hinckley Corporate Park into their new location, the “renovated” Hinckley Medical Center, located at 2546 Center Road, Hinckley. Join us at their Open House this October, where they will be providing free health screens, refreshments, and raffle prizes. Educational Opportunities

Now that the Medina Raptor Center has finished the “busy baby season,” the team is able to provide more educational opportunities throughout the community. The next several months are filled with events where the education birds will make an appearance, and beloved owl walks return for another season. Fall Festivities at Heritage Farm

As we move deeper into autumn, fall festivities are commonplace at the Brunswick Area Historical Society’s Heritage Farm. Through October 16, the Farmer’s Market will continue to be open from 11 am to 2 pm every Sunday. The Farm will be a stop on the county’s Fall Foliage tour October 8 and 9, and the Country Pumpkin Festival returns October 15 and 16 for another exciting harvest festival.

Trinity Rose Golf Outing

The Trinity Rose Foundation will host their annual golf outing September 19 from 11 am to 6 pm at Weymouth Country Club to benefit innovative research and medical advances focused on curing childhood eye disorders, as well as to provide financial assistance to impacted families. Last year, the event raised over $20,000 for the eighth consecutive year, which allowed the nonprofit foundation to grant over $215,000 to families in need, low-vision clinics, and innovative research and development.
